Mr. West concentrates his practice in the areas of business litigation, securities litigation and arbitration, personal injury litigation, telecommunications law, and estate planning. Mr. West has successfully represented multinational, national, regional, and local businesses and individuals in the federal and state courts of Maryland and in various arbitration forums, including NASD Dispute Resolution, Inc., the New York Stock Exchange, Inc., and the American Arbitration Association. Mr. West served as a law clerk to the Honorable Frederic N. Smalkin of the United States District Court for the District of Maryland from 1998-1999. Mr. West joined West & Costello, LLC in 2002, after working for three years in the business and securities litigation group at DLA Piper in Baltimore.
Mr. West has served as a member of the Maryland Consumer Council (2004-2006) and the Gilman School Alumni Board (2005-2007). Mr. West currently serves as a member of the Board and Executive Committee for the Maryland SPCA.
